Glory Johnson

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 for Glory Juanita Devillier Johnson at The First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs. Brother Chad Bolfa will officiate the services. Burial will follow in The First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, age 79, a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Glory was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved talking with friends on the phone and liked to casino hop. She was a talented seamstress who crocheted and made quilts for family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wilmer E. Johnson of Krotz Springs; her son "Poppa" Johnson and wife, Jonalyn (Beard) Johnson of Prairieville and her daughter, Lisa (Johnson) Dufour and husband, Cliff Dufour of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Blake Johnson, Amber Johnson, Hunter Dufour, Seth Johnson and four great-grandchildren, Harley Duplechain, Caleb Dupre, Gunnar Johnson and Paisely Dupre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Dewey Devillier, Sr. and Selise Moreau Devillier; her son, Brian "Chris" Johnson; her brothers, Hubert Devillier, Joseph "Dewey" Devillier, Jr., Jewel "Sonny" Devillier, Glynn Devillier and her sisters, Ina Claire Perkins and Patricia "Pat" Devillier.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.
