Gloria Gaines

Services for Mrs. Gloria Gaines, age 82, will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, La. with interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Monsignor Robert Romero will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Gaines was a telephone operator.

She is survived by her three sons, Paul David Gaines, III and his wife, Vickie Lynn, of Opelousas, La.; John Frederick Gains of Opelousas, La.; Donald Chigger Gaines of Mamou, La.; three daughters, Lisa Anne Gaines of Opelousas, La.; Donna Marie Sibille of Washington, La. and Mary Elizabeth Gaines of Jena, La. She is also survived by her brothers, Jules Sidney Trosclair and Rayfield Trosclair of Opelousas, La. She also is survived by her seven grandchildren, Christopher Burleigh; Jonathan Burleigh; Holly Burleigh; Joshua Paul Gaines; Laura Lynn Gaines; Ashley Elizabeth Purvis and Katey Marie Purvis.

BRMrs. Gaines is preceded in death by her husband, Paul David Gains, Jr., her brothers, J.P. Trosclair; Marion Trosclair; Robert Trosclair and her sister, Irma Fontenot.

Visitation will be observed on Friday, October 17, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until

9:00 p.m. and will re-open on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.

A rosary will be recited on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.
