Opelousas-A private memorial service will be held at a later date for, Ms. Gloria Dene Spraggins Allgood.

Ms. Gloria, age 65, a native of Opelika, AL, and resident of Moreauville, LA died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her daughter's residence.

Ms. Gloria was known as a very happy and loving person. She was an amazing mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughters, Brigitte Allgood Clark and Lauryn Allgood; her brother, Travis Spraggins; her sisters, Mary Schryer and Cynthia Spraggins and her granddaughter, Sophia Elise Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayburn and Virginia Lynn Spraggins and her brother, Paul Spraggins.
