Glenn Miller

Opelousas - Funeral services for Glenn Miller will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 14, 2017, in the Skip Montet Chapel in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. Reverend Austin Leger will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Miller, age 63, a resident of Opelousas, LA, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, at Opelousas General Health System.

Glenn was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching western movies and loved spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Cindy Prejean Miller; his mother, Eve Thibodeaux Miller; his sons, Chad Miller; John "JW" Miller and wife, Katie; his step-son, Carl Miller, Jr. and wife, Michelle; his daughters, Jennifer Miller and Rachael Miller; his step-daughter, Raquel Miller; his brothers, Ronald "Ron" Miller and wife, Darlene; Darrell Miller and wife, Charmaine and Carl Miller and his sister, Brenda Miller Broussard and husband, Carlton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chad Miller, Jr., Kelsey Miller, Kristen Ellis, Cassie Miller, Seth Gotro, Caylin Gotro, Lily Miller, Kade Miller, Cara Miller, Chloe Deville, Gabrielle Cormier, Brason Cormier and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Miller; his son, Glen Miller, Jr.; his sister, Mona Miller Prudhomme; his paternal grandparents, Louis Miller, Sr. and Agnes Miller and his maternal grandparents, Edgar and Julia Thibodeaux.

Visitation will be held at on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will reopen on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Wednesday by Reverend Austin Leger.

Pallbearers will be Ron Miller, Seth Gotro, Damien Prudhomme, Toby Cormier, David Naquin, Brandon Trahan and honorary pallbearers will be Brason Cormier, Kade Miller, J.W. Miller, Darrell Miller and Carl Miller.
