Glenn Craig, Jr.

Opelousas Services for Glenn Norman Craig, Jr., age 61, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La., followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, La. Pastor Don Disotell will conduct the service.

Mr. Craig, a resident of Port Barre, La., died on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Glenn was a United States Army Veteran and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his mother, Clara Gwendolyn Gentry of Solsberry, Indiana his son, Chris Craig of Bloomington, Indiana Glenn Craig, III of Port Barre, La. his daughter, Michelle Comeaux Bertrand and husband, Bryan, of Melville, La. his brother, Charles Craig and wife, Lory, of Solsberry, Indiana his sisters, Markeedia Smith and husband, Tom, of Coal City, Indiana Gwendolyn Chambers and husband, John, of Greenwood, Indiana Margie Shepherd and husband, Gary, of Gosport, Indiana. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Norman Craig, Sr. his son, Jarred Wade Moreau and his exwife, Donna Lynn Moreau.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until service time.
