Gilbert Kirkpatrick, Iii

A memorial service for Gilbert Kirk Kirkpatrick III, 50, will be held at LafondArdoin Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 9:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Kirk passed away at his residence in The Woodlands, TX on Thursday, June 6, 2013.

Kirk leaves behind a legacy in his children, Jordyn and Landon. He is survived by his sisters, Trish, Trina, and Terri Kirkpatrick his brother K.K. Kris Kirkpatrick his mother, Theresa Sue Kirkpatrick his aunts, Mary Richard, and Etta Oberhoff his cousins, Briar, Deni, Patricia, and Irene his nieces and nephews, Krisi Clay, Johnny Kelli, Derrick Haleigh, Angelique, Aleisha, and all of his great nieces and nephews as well as his extended family at Halliburton in The WoodlandsConroe, TX.

Kirk was preceded in death by several loved ones his daughter Jade Kirkpatrick his sister, Tracie Kirkpatrick Carriere his father, G.E. Kirkpatrick, Jr. his grandparents, Benjamin Frances Richard, Lee Bernice Guidry, and G.E. Mary Kirkpatrick, Sr. his uncle Benny Richard and his aunts Marlene Richard and Claudette Richard.

Kirk was well loved and admired by many. Those who knew him will always remember that he would extend a helping hand to whoever needed. His assistance was always selfless, generous, and unconditional. He absolutely loved the outdoors hunting, fishing, and cooking were some of his favorite activities.
