Gerald Duvall, Sr.

Krotz Springs A service will be held for Gerald Roy Duvall, Sr. at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, La. Burial to follow in the church cemetery with Brother Chad Bolfa.

Mr. Duvall, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Roma Gail OConnor Duvall, of Krotz Springs, La. his sons, Gerald Duvall, Jr. of Krotz Springs, La. Brandon Duvall and wife, Leona, of Krotz Springs, La. his daughters, Monica Turner of Krotz Springs, La. Loria West and husband, John, of Cravens, La. his sisters, Annie Duvall Cazes and husband, Buddy, of Deridder, La. and Dianne Duvall Ledoux of Baton Rouge, La. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Munica, Lauren, Paige, Jonathan, Alyssa, Brandon, Jr. and Lydia and one greatgrandchild, Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Natlie Schexsnayder Duvall his brother, Jessie Duvall, Jr. and his sisters, Dorothy Duvall, Dollie Hall and Pete Beck.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, beginning on Friday, August 3, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. open all night until service time on Saturday.
