George Saucier, Jr

Funeral services will be held for Mr. George Milburn Saucier, Jr. at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016, in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home. The service will be preceded by visiting in the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until a 12:30 p.m. rosary. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the funeral service and rosary.

Mr. Saucier, a native of Wichita Falls, TX and lifelong native of Opelousas, LA, died on Monday, November 7, 2016.

George enjoyed Bible study, being with friends and family, helping people in need and watching and reading about wrestling.

He is survived by a sister, Virginia S. Jimenez of San Antonio, TX; aunt, Hattie Saucier; uncle, Raymond Devillier; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special cousin, Bea Beaugh.

George is preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Marie Effie Devillier Saucier, Sr; sisters, Gloria S. Calvert and Patricia Saucier; maternal grandparents, Julian and Martha Charles Devillier and paternal grandparents, Pierre L. and Judith Labure Saucier.
