Krotz Springs Funeral services for Geneva Beard Parish, age 57, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, followed by interment in the Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs, La. The Reverend Ray Majors will conduct the service.

Geneva, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Monday, December 19, 2011, at her daughters residence in Krotz Springs, La.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her son, Chad Beard, of Krotz Springs her daughters, Bernadette Nolan and husband, Harry, of Krotz Springs, La. April Reed and husband, Cody, of Krotz Springs, La. her brothers, Allen Beard and wife, Shirley, of Jayess, Mississippi Joseph Beard, Jr. of Baton Rouge, La. Milton beard of Melville, La. her sisters, Hazel Fugate and husband, J.R., of Harvey, La. Janet Royer of Carencro, La. and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Lauren Parish, Bailey Castille, Logan Beard, Calob Beard, Aubria Beard, Jace Beard, Kamryn Beard, Dru Reed and Lane Reed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Willie Billy Burton Parish, her parents, two brothers and three nephews.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana, especially Beth and Mrs. Donnie They would also like to thank Louisiana Oncology, especially Dr. Cole and his staff.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, beginning on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m.
