Frankie Ray Cottano

Frankie Ray Cottano, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the Senior Village Nursing Home. 

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:30am, at the Gary Soileau Community Center (216 Park Street, Krotz Springs, LA 70750). A Funeral service will begin at 11:00am with Brother Don Disotell officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow until 3:00pm.

Frankie found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing, hunting, farming, and cooking. These hobbies not only brought him happiness but also allowed him to create lasting memories with those he loved. Whether it was casting a line or gathering around the table for a meal he prepared with love.

Frankie is survived by his son, Frankie Ray Cottano II, and his wife, Kristen; his daughters, Joycelyn Cottano Deville and her husband, Randy, and Frankie Cottano LaPorte and her husband, Spencer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Cottano and Katherine Cottano; his brother, Peter James Cottano; and his wives, Anita Cottano and Carmen Cottano. Each of these individuals held a special place in his heart, and he is now reunited with them in peace.
