Francis Arnaud

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Francis Arnaud at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014, in the St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, La. Reverend James Brady will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Arnaud, age 72, a native of Arnaudville former resident of Plaisance and resident of Marrero, died on Friday, May 2, 2014.

Francis was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his fianc, Grace Benoit his sons, Darrell Arnaud and fianc, Amber Vorous Troy Arnaud and wife, Donna his daughters, Mona Burghdoft and husband, Brad and Cindy Benoit his step son, Clint Benoit and wife, Rowena Al Benoit and wife, Irene his brothers, Elvin Arnaud and wife, Gerry Lloyd Arnaud and wife, Charlie Marvin Arnaud Ronald Arnaud and wife, Eva Leon Arnaud and wife, Dianne his sisters, Evelyn Kidder Rose Breaux Margaret Thibodeaux and husband, Russell and Cecile Dupre and husband, John. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Nicole Manuel, Lindsey Robin and husband, Joshua, Brice Benoit, Madison Benoit, Jamie Smith, Rhiley Arnaud five greatgrandchildren, Ariana Manuel, McKenzie Manuel, Shawna Manuel, Tiltie Manuel, Kade Arnaud six stepgrandchildren and one step greatgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Evelyn Miller Arnaud his grandson, Eric Charles Arnaud his soninlaw, David Benoit and stepgrandchild, Stephanie Daigle.

Visitation will be held at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, May 4, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Arnaud, Troy Arnaud, Brice Benoit, Raphael Breaux, Clint Benoit, Ronnie Arnaud and honorary pallbearers will be Josh Robin, Brad Burghdoft and Shane Benoit.
