FRANCES GLADYS B. RICHARD

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Bourque Richard will be held on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 2PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Robert Courville will conduct the services.

Mrs. Richard, 91, died Wednesday morning. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Travel was one of her favorite past times and also enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family. She was in the first graduating class in nursing at T.H. Harris Vocational School and was a member of Pilots Club, a life member of Catholic Daughters and was also a member of the L.P.N. Association. She was a long time nurse of Dr. Prather and Dr. Bertrand.

Mrs. Richard is survived by 2 daughters; Mrs. Sue Kirkpatrick of Opelousas and Dr. F. Claudette Richard of Los Angeles CA. a sister Jocelyn Soileau of Opelousas. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Trish C. Kirkpatrick, Trina S. Kirkpatrick, Tracie K. Carriere, Gilbert E Kirkpatrick III, Terri A. Kirkpatrick and Adrian Savoie and Kristopher K. Kirkpatrick, Brian and his wife Allison Richard. 7 Great-grandchildren; Krisi Rene Runfalo and her husband Clay, Johnny L. Carriers Jr., Derrick S. and his wife Amber Carriere, Angelique Midkiff, Aleisha Midkiff, Jordyn Kirkpatrick and Landon Kirkpatrick, 4 Great-great-grandchildren; Carsyn Jade Carriere, Connoly Paige Carriere, Carlyle Runfalo and Derrick Scott Carriere II.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Theodore and Marie Cheaux Bourque

her husband; Benjamin Richard Sr, a daughter; Marlene Richard, a son; Benjamin L. Benny Richard Jr. sisters; Elizabeth Sibille, Gertrude Savoy, Luda Peck, Odile Sibille, Zulma Richard, brothers; Martin, John, Hubert and Darius Bourque and a great-grandchild; Jade Kirkpatrick

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Thursday from 6PM to 10PM and will continue on Friday from 8AM till time of service. A rosary time on Thursday is pending.
