Frances Breaux

Krotz Springs A Mass of Christian Burial for Frances Lilly Tregle Breaux, age 83, will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Anthony Catholic Church of Krotz Springs, La., followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Mark Ledoux will be the celebrant of the mass.

Frances, a resident of Krotz Springs, La., passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System.

Mrs. Breaux was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church of Krotz Springs and was the owner and operator of Breauxs Fish Market in Krotz Springs for over 30 years. She was a wonderful Cajun cook who loved to feed her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Belle Bickham and husband, Wayne, of Baton Rouge, La. Carolyn Watkins of Denham Springs, La. her brother, Sidney Tregle of Des Allemands, La. and her sister, Dora Ford of Des Allemands, La. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Tony, Barry and Lonny Territo, Charlotte, Merrick, Jeanne and Bert Gautreaux, Jolene Sellers, David Watkins, Jr., MSgt. James Roy Watkins, Clyde Breaux, Bonnie Plaisance and Carl Deville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Breaux a son, Carl D. Breaux and his wife, Cathy Bihm Breaux a daughter, Diana M. Breaux Gautreaux and her husband, Merrick Bozo Gautreaux her parents, Albert and Jeanne Tregle two sisters, Louise Folse, Mary Colgne her grandson, Charles Amos Gautreaux 2 greatgrandchildren, Savannah Sellers and Brandon Lee Ellis.

Pallbearers will be: Tony Territo, Barry Territo, Lonny Territo, David Watkins, Jr., MSgt. James Roy Watkins, Benny Breaux, Merrick Gautreaux and Clyde Breaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
