Floyd Mason, Sr.

Krotz Springs Funeral services for Floyd Edward Mason, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Reverend Chad Bolfa.

Mr. Mason, age 73, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA died on Monday, November 19, 2012, at his residence.

Floyd will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sons, Floyd Oscar Mason, Jr. and wife, Terry, of Krotz Springs, LA Tony Poohboy Mason and fianc, Jennifer Lacassin, of Krotz Springs, LA his daughter, Connie Kay Mason, of Krotz Springs, LA and his sister, Odeal Pippins of Krotz Springs, LA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Floyd Trey Mason, III, Lori Disotell, Dana Ellis, Georgie Disotell, Kimberly Mason, Meghan Mason, Kyra Lacassin, 14 greatgrandchildren, 2 greatgreat grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Sandra Kay Mason his parents, Lonnie and Ethel Mason one son, James Hanky Mason two grandsons, James Fatboy Ellis, Kenry Disotell one brother, Lonnie Mason and two sisters, Maudel Hoyt and Lois Mason.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs beginning on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. open all night until time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Ivory Disotell, Trey Mason, Tony Poohboy Mason, Stacy Cureington, Carroll Snyder and Kenny Disotell and honorary pallbearers will be Gaige Ellis and Khristian Disotell.
