Florence "Tee" Moreau

Graveside service for Florence Higdon Moreau will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs.

Florence, affectionately known as Tee or Mamee by her family and friends was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Krotz Springs, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

Tee collected dolls, loved painting ceramics, and enjoyed crocheting. She enjoyed sitting and reading her Holy Bible. Her family recalls her wonderful fruit salad and cabbage during the holiday season. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, June Moreau and Melanie Moreau; sister, Virginia Mitchell; grandchildren, Vickie Fontenot, Candice Lalonde, Brandon Brown and Hayden Brown; great grandchildren, Victoria Fontenot, Ethan Fontenot, Creed Fontenot, Edmond Lalonde, and Everly Lalonde.

Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Moreau; parents, George and Mattie Stermer Higdon; daughter, Alicia Moreau; brothers, Henry Higdon, Jay Higdon, Lawrence Higdon, and Leon Higdon; her infant brother; sister, Lorena Higdon Ziteo.
