F.J. FIRMIN

Funeral services for Mr. F.J. Firmin will be held on Saturday, October 7th, 2006 at 10:00AM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, with interment at the Baptist cemetery in Melville. Brother Robert Blush will conduct the services.

Mr. Firmin, 88, died October 1st, 2006 at Opelousas General Health System.

He is survived by his sons; Ronald J. Firmin and his wife Sharon of Murfreesboro TN, Glenn Firmin and his wife Terrie of Melville, La. Carl Edwards Firmin and his wife Cindy of Fort Walton FL, and Gregory Alan Firmin of Sulphur La., his sister; Dorothy Herring and her husband Carroll L. Herring of Jarreau La. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 Great-grandchildren.

The family has requested that Memorial donations can be made to:The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1011 Goudeau Road, Melville La. 71353.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Lonie Marie DeSoto Firmin, parents Celestin and Pauline LeMoine Firmin, sister Verdie Ponthieux and one grandson Sean Firmin.

Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue on Saturday from 8:00AM till time of service.
