Ezola Goulas

Funeral services will be held for Ezola Marie Courville Goulas at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, in the Skip Montet Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service. Burial will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.

Mrs. Goulas, age 79, a resident of Lafayette, LA, died on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Ezola enjoyed playing Metro Bingo and will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors are her sons, Joey J. Goulas and wife, Shelly, of Phoenix, Arizona; Timothy J. (My Little Tim Tim) Goulas of Duson, LA; her daughter, Jennifer L. Goulas Deville and husband, Stacy, of Carencro, La. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, Lex, Bret, Chase, Amanda, Destiny, Hailey, Shyla, Josh, Caiden, Avy, T.J., Jayse, Chanse and Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Goulas; her parents, Robert Courville and Germaine Knott; her grandparents, Bodin Knott and Azema Knott; her brothers, Wallace Courville, Lawrence Courville, Robert Courville, Jr. and her sister, Gladys Duhon.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday by Deacon Dwayne Joubert.

Pallbearers will be Joey, Tim, Stacy, Ray Ray, Josh and Chase. Honorary pallbearers will be Lex and C.D.
