Ewell Gautreaux

Funeral services for Ewell Joseph Gautreaux will be Thursday December 28, 2006 at 2:00pm in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to take place at Bellevue Memorial Park. Fr. Jeff DeBlanc will conduct the services.

Mr. Gautreaux, age 72 died Tuesday December 26, 2006 at his residence at 9:10pm. He was a retired salesman and also served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife; Bevelyn Darbonne Gautreaux of Opelousas, daughters; Clara Marks and husband Vernon of Opelousas, Roxane Gautreaux Carte and husband Sammy Carte of Crestview, Fl., Sharon Fontenot and husband Joseph of Opelousas and Tammy Bellard and husband Ronald of Opelousas, brothers; Walton Gautreaux of Opelousas and Donald Gautreaux of Lafayette, sisters; Emily Taylor of Washington and Bonnie Juneau of Arnaudville., 15 grandchildren; Tim Marks, Lauren Hulion and husband Daniel, Tony Carte and fianc Fallon Shown, Amanda Carte, Cory Carte, Ashleigh Fontenot, Eric Fontenot, C.J. Fontenot, Gabrielle Fontenot, Trent Fontenot, Christian Fontenot, Veronica Bellard, Ronald Bellard, Jr. and his wife Michelle, Cory Bellard and Zach Bellard, 6 great grandchildren; Victoria Marks, Mackenzie Hulion, Kadence Hulion, Samantha Daniels, Kaitlyn Stelly and Kimberleigh Stelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Clement Gautreaux, Sr. and Elizabeth Guillory Gautreaux, 2 brothers; Samuel Gautreaux and Clement Gautreaux, Jr., sister; Clara Mae Gautreaux.

Visitation will be Wednesday December 27, 2006 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm and Thursday 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.
