Opelousas – A Mass of Christian Burial for Everlee Guidry Robichaux will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. The Very Reverend Monsignor Keith J. DeRouen will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas on Monday, September 12, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 12:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Robichaux, Craig Robichaux, Jacque Robichaux, Ted Legnon, Frank Albrecht and Tommy Darbonne.
It is with deep sorrow we regretfully announce the passing of Everlee Guidry Robichaux on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, at St. Joseph Manor in Thibodaux, La.
Everlee was an administrative assistant with AT & T until her retirement. She loved cooking for her family and enjoyed being outdoors tending to her garden. Everlee will be remembered mostly for being a kind and loving person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her step-son, L.A. “Tony” Robichaux, and his wife, Sherri, of Houma, La.; her three grandchildren, Kyle Robichaux and his wife, Monica, Craig Robichaux, Dorian Daigneault and husband, Ben and six great-grandchildren, Jacque Robichaux, Sidney Robichaux, Tucker Robichaux, Cora Robichaux, Andre’ Daigneault and Beau Daigneault.
She was was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Robichaux; her parents, Onesie Guidry and Ida Lafleur Guidry; her sisters, Ethel Arnaud and Heartha Doucette and two brothers, Murphy Gaudet and Charlie Gaudet.
The family would like to give a special thank you to St. Joseph Manor of Thibodaux for all the love and special care given to Everlee during her stay as a resident. They would also like to thank Haydel Hospice of Houma for the comfort and care given to Everlee during her last days.
