Evelyn Badeaux

Opelousas A Funeral Service for Evelyn Trahan Badeaux will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Parlor. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Reverend Paul Bienvenu will officiate the service.

Mrs. Badeaux, age 81, a resident of Opelousas, LA died on Monday, February 18, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System.

Evelyn was part owner of Badeauxs Citgo and worked at Ortegos Citgo for several years. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Bellow and husband, Ray, of Opelousas, LA Jeanette Canchola and her husband, Harold, of Baton Rouge, LA her brother, Mike Trahan of Cecilia, LA Alcus Trahan and his wife, Melissa, of Church Point, LA and her sister, Bernice Guidry of Breaux Bridge, LA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Rachel Franks of Opelousas, LA Chad Bellow of Opelousas, LA Derek Canchola of Baton Rouge, LA Taylor Canchola of Baton Rouge, LA and 4 greatgrandchildren, Shelby Constantine, Logan Constantine, Cameron Franks and Leigha Jane Canchola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Badeaux her son, Ricky Badeaux her parents, Claude and Leontine Berard Trahan and her brother, Claude Trahan, Jr.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Ray Bellow, Harold Canchola, James Franks, Derek Canchola, Taylor Canchola, Logan Constantine and honorary pallbearers will be Chad Bellow and Cameron Franks.
