Eula Andrus

Funeral services for the former Eula Mae Krantz, age 83, will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs followed by interment in St. Anthony Cemetery. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Chanh Nguyen and Rev. Robert Courville.

Mrs. Andrus, a lifelong native and resident of Krotz Springs passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her residence. She retired as food service manager at Krotz Springs Elementary in 1990 after 28 years of service. She was a lifelong member of the church and a member of the Ladies Alter Society. She enjoyed sewing, cooking growing vegetables and plants and being with her family.

Survivors include four sons, Ronnie Conway and wife Phyllis of New Iberia, Wayne Conway and wife Mittie Gay of Baton Rouge, and Richard Conway and wife JoAnn, and Rickie Conway and wife Carolyn all of Krotz Springs stepsons, Ronnie Andrus and wife Penny of Luling and Kim Andrus and wife Estelle of Abu Dhabi three brothers, Rodney Krantz of Krotz Springs, Jim Wilson Krantz of Lafayette, and Albert Krantz of Breaux Bridge a sister, Amelia Dougherty of Addison, Texas, 14 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert B. Conway, and second husband, Leon P. Andrus parents Onezime Bess Krantz and Lucille Ducote, son, Robert Dale Conway Sister, Marie Goldie Krantz, grandson, Warren Butch Conway greatgrandchildren Tyler Conway and Garrett Leathers.

Special thanks to caregiver, Nellie Devillier, and the caring staff at Heart of Hospice.

Visiting will be held at LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs on Monday, November 28th from 5pm till 10pm and reopen on Tuesday at 8am until time of services at 2pm. A rosary will be held at 6:30pm on Monday.
