Essie Oge

Funeral services for Mrs. Essie Vidrine Oge, will be held on Monday, October 30th, 2006 at 2PM at St. Landry Catholic Church with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. Msgr. Robert Romero will conduct the services.

Mrs. Oge, 84, died Sunday at 6:10AM at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte.

She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.

She is survived by a daughter; Mrs. Kay Deville of Opelousas, 3 sisters; Oliva Ardoin of Ville Platte, Ledia Vidrine of New Iberia and Attalee Lee of Ville Platte. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Jake Deville of Baton Rouge and Aimee Smith of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Lydia Dupre Vidrine and her husband, Herbert Oge.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Sunday, October 29th, 2006 from 4PM to 10PM and will continue on Monday from 8AM till time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7PM on Sunday.
