Ervin Hoyt

Melville- Funeral services for Mr. Ervin Bobby Hoyt, 64, will be held at 11:00a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2007 at LaFond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Melville, followed by interment in the Baptist Cemetery in Melville.

Mr. Hoyt died on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Doctors Hospital of Opelousas.

Bobby was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and a good friend to many.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Hoyt McKey and husband Ronnie of Zachary; granddaughters, Morgan and Alaina McKey of Zachary; four sisters, Lucille DuPont and husband Huey of Bueche, Shirley Barnett and husband Elton of Walker, Linda Bertrand of Melville, and Alice Landerno and husband Wayne of Melville; sister-in-law, Dottie Hoyt of Melville and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hoyt was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Audrey Hoyt; siblings, Ella Mae Hill, Nellie Dauzet, and Roy Hoyt..

Visiting will be held at LaFond Funeral Home of Melville on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 5:00-10:00pm and will re-open at 9:00am on Monday.
