Ernestine Billeaudeau

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Ernestine Deville Billeaudeau, age 87, at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas, followed by the Rite of Committal in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Monsignor Keith DeRouen will celebrate the Mass.

Mrs. Billeaudeau who was a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Grand Prairie, died at her residence on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 12:40 a.m.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Gilbert Billeaudeau son, Donald Gerald Billeaudeau and wife Sandy daughters, Judy Ann B. Gary and husband Harvey, Charline Marie B. Thomas and husband Jon, and Jennifer Ann B. Norris and husband Michael sister, Etheline Joubert 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Olida and Marie Fontenot Deville sons, Gilbert Ray Billeaudeau and Kenneth Wayne Billeaudeau brothers, Attaway and Joseph Deville sisters, Leta Duplechain, Grace Stoute, Elize Fontenot, Evelyne Stelly and Agnes Manuel.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 11:00 9:00 p.m. in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
