Eric Cormier

Funeral services for Eric Brandon Cormier will be held on Tuesday, December 4th, 2007, at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs with the interment in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Port Barre. The Rev. Chad Balfa will conduct the services.

Eric, age 17, was a resident of Krotz Springs, died on Saturday, December 1, 2007 in Waxia. He was a Senior at Port Barre High School and was on the Football and baseball teams and was a member of the welding team and tops. He enjoyed sports, hunting and worked at Kimballs Catering and also at RSC Auto Repair. He was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by his friends and family.

Eric is survived by his parents; Anthony and Laurie Quebedeaux of Krotz Springs, Scott and Annette Cormier of Old River, TX, his grandparents; Roger Persick of Melville, Linda Jaubert of Melville and Marion Cormier of Lewisburg, Rita and Gerald Quebedeaux of Krotz Springs, great-grandmother; Olive Burleigh Tat of Melville, brothers; Aaron and Blake Quebedeaux of Krotz Springs, Nicholas Cormier of Winter Haven FL, Blake Cormier of Prairie Ronde and Scotty Cormier Jr of Old River, TX, his sisters; Taylor Cormier, Brooke Cormier and Heather Mott all of Old River, TX, Jami Quebedeaux and Brittany Quebedeaux of Krotz Springs.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother; Juanita Cormier, great-grandparents; Alfred and Nina Persick and John Burleigh

The family has requested that visitation will be observed on Monday, December 3,2007 from 5:00PM to 10:00PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00AM until the time of service.

Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
