Krotz Springs - A memorial service for Elvina Stermer will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs, LA at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the funeral services.

Ms. Stermer, age 50, died on Friday, January 16, 2015 in Krotz Springs, LA.

She is survived by her daughter, Jacqualine Young of Port Barre, LA; her brother, Johnny O'Conner of Jackson, LA; her sisters, Gail Duval of Krotz Springs, LA, Maggie Lejeune of Maraquin, LA, Charlene O'Conner of Krotz Springs, LA, Darlene Barker of Jackson, LA, Genever Hudson of Krotz Springs, LA, and Mona Pierce of Krotz Springs, LA, her four grandchildren, Rylin Broussard, Gaven Young, Brant Young Jr., and Marissa Young.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnel Stermer and Ella Mae Dupuis; her brothers, Chester O'Conner, Kermit O'Conner, and Patrick O'Conner; her sisters, Mary Devillier and Rose West.
