Elizabeth Puckett

Funeral Mass for Liz Puckett, the former Elizabeth Martin, will be held at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 1:00pm. Msgr. Paul Metrejean will conduct the service.

Mrs. Puckett, age 61, a resident of Opelousas, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 1:40 p.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Liz is survived by her husband James Page Puckett; her sister Christine Martin Ford and her three daughters Kelley Higginbotham, Angela Ford and Leslie Ford; her aunts Merilynn Quirk and Lilly Ann McKinney; Page's sisters Grace Puckett Hinton, her husband Bill and their three children Jeff Hinton, Steve Hinton and Valerie Cesan; and Mary Hargroder Star and her four children Daniel Harmon, Katie Fabre, Brian Harmon and Stephanie Harmon.

Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by her sister, Marise Martin and her parents, Charles and Bertha McKinney Martin.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas from 11:30 am until time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 12Noon on Monday.
