Opelousas A Memorial Service will be held for Elizabeth Lukaszek Anderwald, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013, in the First Baptist Church in Opelousas 3835 I49 South Service Road, Opelousas, LA. Brother Perry C. Hubbs will conduct the service.

Elizabeth, age 64, died at her daughters residence on Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Elizabeth loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was born in Poland and moved to the states with her parents when she was ten years old. She spoke fluent Polish and English. She loved helping people and would always bring a smile in every room she entered. She loved to read, cook, solve crossword puzzles and spend time with her grandson among many things. She always had a heart for animals. Liz loved to travel and has been all over the world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Elizabeth will forever be in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Anderwald her daughter, Kristy Webb Lalonde and husband, Don her grandson, Don Lalonde, III her brotherinlaw, Jack Wojewski and her nephew, Richard Rzepecki her greatnephew, Andrzej and greatniece, Natalia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jan and Janina Lukaszek her sister, Irene Lukaszek Wojewski and her stepson, John Anderwald.

The family would like to thank Louisiana Hospice Palliative Care for the amazing care they gave Elizabeth and the comfort they gave to the family.
