The family of Elise Devillier Miller request to receive guests in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, to share in the fond memories of Elise life. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Elise Miller, the former, Elise Marie Devillier was a native and resident of Port Barre, LA. She died on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 6:28 p.m. surrounded by her family.
Elise and husband Kenneth are the owner and operators of DM Fireplaces and Pools, Inc, located in Port Barre, LA.
Elise cherished life surrounded by her grandchildren, children and the animals that she cared for. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth Ray Miller of Port Barre sons, Russell J. Miller and wife, Angie Wheaton, Michael C. Miller and wife, Abigail, all of Port Barre daughter, Angela M. Ardoin and husband Rodrick Ardoin, II of Port Barre brother, Arthur Devillier and wife Junelle of Port Barre sister, Marjorie Magtira of Miami, FL seven grandchildren, Emily Miller, Sydney Ardoin, Ethan Ardoin, Maggie Miller, Avery Miller, Lauren Miller, and Ryan Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Antoine Devillier and Esther Dupre Devillier.
