Elise Fontenot

Funeral services for Elise Deville Fontenot will be held on Saturday December 23, 2006 at 10:00am in the St. Landry Catholic Church. Burial to take place at Bellevue Memorial Park. Monsignor Robert Romero will conduct the services.

Mrs. Fontenot, age 82 died Wednesday December 20, 2006 at 9:25pm at Doctors Hospital. She was a seamstress at Austins Men and Boys and was also a salesperson at J.B. Sandoz.

Survivors include her son; Michael Fontenot of Baton Rouge, sisters; Mrs. Gilbert Ernestine Billeaudeau of Port Barre, Mrs. Harold Grace Stoute of Opelousas, and Mrs. Evelyn Stelly of Dallas, Tx. and Mrs. Floyd Etheline Joubert of Dallas, Tx.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Alida Deville and Marie Matte Fontenot, husband; Eusebe Fontenot, sisters; Mrs. J.B. Agnes Manuel and Mrs. Lita Duplechain, brothers; Joseph and Attaway Deville.

Visitation will be Friday December 22, 2006 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30pm on Friday.
