Edward Wyble

Visitation will be held for Edward M. Papoose Slim Wyble on Friday, January 3, 2014 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Rosary service followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. all held in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. The Reverend Monsignor Keith DeRouen will conduct the funeral service. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Edward M. Wyble, age 78, was a native and resident of Opelousas, LA. He died at 11:00 p.m. on December 31, 2013 at his residence.
Edward worked for the Greater Baton Rouge Grain Inspection and later for the Hunts Correction Facility. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra LaBauve Wyble of Opelousas son, David Wayne Wyble of Baton Rouge, LA brothers, Austin Wyble, Jr. and Arthur Wyble and their families, all of Opelousas,LA 5 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren 2 greatgreat grandchildren two very special friends, Alice Ross of Opelousas, LA and Joseph Stelly of Leonville, LA.

He is preceded in death by his step daughter, Kelly Ann Lalonde his parents, Austin Wyble, Sr. and Rita Lalonde his aunt, Irene Lalonde Whaley.

Pallbearers will be Cody Lalonde, Ellis Michael, Joe Stelly, Richard Sudduth and Marshall Roy.
