Earline B Guillory, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2023, at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas.

Earline was a remarkable woman whose life was filled with love and joy. She had an infectious laugh that could brighten anyone's day and a kind heart that touched the lives of those around her.

One of Earline's favorite pastimes was playing Bingo. She would light up with excitement as she crossed off each number on her card. She also loved watching soap operas. Another activity that brought her great joy was getting her hair done. She took pride in her appearance and maintaining a sense of grace throughout her life.

Earline found comfort in talking on the phone and cherished every conversation she had with loved ones. Whether it was catching up with friends or sharing stories with family members near or far, Earline valued those connections deeply. She understood the importance of nurturing relationships and treasured every moment spent together.

Family meant everything to Earline, and she dedicated herself to creating strong bonds with both immediate and extended family members. She always made sure to prioritize spending time with her loved ones and made sure they felt cherished and supported. Earline enjoyed gatherings filled with laughter, good food, and making lasting memories.

Earline is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Curtis "Bob" Guillory, her parents Avie Brown and Alix Fontenot, grandson Caleb Brent Guillory, son-in-law Eddie Joseph Kidder, sisters-in-law Werline McGraw and Wordna Castille, nephew Guy Dupre, and niece Stephanie Jones. Although they are no longer physically present, their love will always remain a cherished part of Earline's legacy.

Earline started her young, married life by becoming a dedicated caretaker to her ill mother-in-law, Sidonia. After her untimely passing, Sidonia left behind two young children, Bonnie and Susanne, Earline’s sisters-in-law, which Earline took into her home and raised as her own daughters.

She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts. Her sons, Bobby C Guillory (Melanie), Jason B Guillory, Azie Lance Guillory, daughters Angela Everitt (David), Bonnie Dupre (Ronnie), Susanne Pitre (John), brothers Nellard Brown and Ernest Brown, grandchildren Dylan Guillory, Matthew C Guillory, Anthony Barras, Curtis John “CJ” Guillory, Reba Stelly (Alex), Addyson Everitt, Gabriel Guillory, Gunnar Guillory, Gemma Guillory, Jaslyn Guillory, Sarah Guillory, Diana Bauer (Joshua), and Erick Kidder (Katie), great-grandchildren Jackson Kidder, Annie Kidder, Tucker Kidder, Walter Bauer, and Marion Bauer, godchildren Sonia LaBorde, Vickie Fontenot, Melissa Castille, and Adaline Fruge.

A visitation in memory of Earline B. Guillory will take place at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home located at 2845 S. Union Street in Opelousas on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to share stories and pay their respects during this time. A eulogy and time for sharing will take place at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 27, 2023, to honor Earline's life.

On Friday, July 28, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM a visitation will be held at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home, providing another opportunity for those who could not attend the previous day.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Earline's life will follow at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023, at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.  It will be a time of remembrance, where family, friends, and loved ones will come together to honor the profound impact Earline had during her time on earth.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Guillory, Jason Guillory, Azie Lance Guillory, Dylan Michael Guillory, Matthew Charles Guillory and Erick Joseph Kidder. Honorary pallbearers will be David Everitt and Alex Stelly.

Earline B Guillory will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, warmth, and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to have crossed paths with her. May her memory live on as a beacon of love and compassion, reminding us of all to embrace life's simple joys and value the connections we share with one another.
