Melville A Funeral Service for Earl F. Thibodeaux will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Melville, LA. Burial will follow in the St. John Church Mausoleum in Melville, LA. Reverend James Nguyen will officiate the service.

Mr. Thibodeaux, age 79, a resident of Melville, LA died on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System.

Earl will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Jennie Polotzola Thibodeaux, of Melville, LA his son, Michael Thibodeaux and wife, Suzanne, of Houston, Texas his stepson, Bennie Yander and wife, Leslie, of Prairieville, LA his stepdaughterinlaw, Annette Yander, of Melville, LA his sisters, Georgiana Bordelon of Bayou Jack, LA Ardell Snook and husband, James, of Deer Park, Texas and Genevieve Flores of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren, 7 step greatgrandchildren and 1step greatgreatgrandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysse and Alice Lejeune Thibodeaux his son, Ronald Thibodeaux, his stepson, Sam Yander, Jr. his brothers, Elge, Ervin and L.J. Thibodeaux and his stepgrandson, Sam Buck Yander, III.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville beginning on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
