Earl Prudhomme, Jr.

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Earl Boo Boo Prudhomme, Jr., at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013, in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Monsignor Keith DeRouen will be the celebrant of the Mass.

Mr. Prudhomme, age 50, died on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Leesville, LA.

Earl worked as a vendor for Republic National Distributing Company for 14 years. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his companion, Carol Baker, of Opelousas, LA his mother, Gladys Hernandez, of Opelousas, LA his daughter, Amber Rae Sibley, of Opelousas, LA his brother, James Dwight Fontenot and wife, Sheila, of Youngsville, LA and his sister, Peggy Ann Dickson and companion, Dickie Boudreaux, of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 greatnieces and 1 greatnephew.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Pierre Prudhomme, Sr.

Visiting hours will begin on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
