Doris Verrette

Funeral services for Doris Faye Naquin Verrette will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs.  Reverend Allen Myers will conduct the service with burial to follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Faye Naquin Verrette, age, 62.  Doris passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Doris worked at the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs for the past eight years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs.  Doris enjoyed going to the casino with her husband and sisters.  She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Raymond Verrette; her brothers, Raymond Naquin and wife, Kim, Joseph Naquin and her sisters, Glenda Clark and husband, Cleven, Mary Guillory and Mamie Rouse and husband, Thomas.  She is also survived by her Godchildren, Jarred Bartram and wife, Lindsey, Curley Guillory, Kayla Hebert and husband, Josh, Kelly Briley and husband, Ray and Shelly Duchesne and husband, Samuel and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Lena Moreau Naquin; her sister, Kathy Bartram and her brother, Roland Wayne Naquin.

Pallbearers will be Curley Guillory, Jarred Bartram, Cleven Clark, Derek Stelly, Josh Hebert and Cheyenne Guillory.  Honorary pallbearers will be Breckin Bartram and Raymond Naquin, Jr.
