Krotz Springs - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Doris Ann Whittington Breaux at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Reverend Jason Vidrine will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial. Rite of Committal will be held at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Breaux, age 76, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, died on Sunday, October 30, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Doris enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching movies and crocheting blankets. She loved the time she spent with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Lloyd J. Breaux and wife, Norma, of Henderson, LA; Paul Kerney Breaux, Jr. and wife, Tammy, of Melville, LA; Bruce Allen Breaux and wife, Janet, of New Iberia, LA; Foster James Breaux of Krotz Springs, LA; her daughters, Arleen Marie Pourciau and husband, Chris, of Morgan City, LA; Faye Ann Breaux and wife, Moe, of Krotz Springs, LA; Janice Lynn Morrison and husband, George, of Krotz Springs, LA and her brother, David Whittington of Krotz Springs, LA. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, Cassie Breaux, Kenny Barker, Jr., Brooke Barker, Kandie Richard, Gene Breaux, Lloyd Breaux, Jr. Crystal Breaux, Miranda Breaux, Paul Breaux, III, Tamara Triplette, Cheyenne Triplette, Jessica Breaux, David Soignier, Anthony Soignier, Stevin Soignier, Lauren Meyers, Russell Meyers, Harli Hayes and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Breaux, Sr.; her son, Anthony George Breaux; her parents, Eula Marks Whittington and George Whittington; her brother, James Larry Whittington and her sister-in-law, Faye Whittington.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd J. Breaux, Paul K. Breaux, Jr., Foster J. Breaux, Bruce A. Breaux, Chris Pourciau, George Morrison, Gene Breaux, Paul K. Breaux, III, David Soignier, Anthony Soignier, Steven Soignier and Kenny W. Barker, Jr.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. (open all night) until time of service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. A rosary will be prayed on Tuesday.
