DONNIE L. BENOIT

Funeral services for Mr. Donnie L. Benoit will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, with the interment following in the Baptist Cemetery. The Rev. Chad Balfa and Rev. Rocky Warden will conduct the services.

Mr. Benoit, age 61, a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11:40AM at Maison Deville Nursing Home in Opelousas.

He graduated from Melville High school and loved sports. He was well versed in history and the Bible and was a talented piano player. Donnie was a friend to everyone and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donnie is survived by his brothers; Bob Guidry of Krotz Springs and Kert Guidry of Denham Springs, his sisters; Sandra Guidry LeBlanc of Krotz Springs and Kathy Benoit Saucier of Slidell, La.

He was preceded in death by his father; A.J. Benoit, step-father; Fred J. Guidry and his mother; Eunice Doiron Benoit Guidry.

Visitation was observed on Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM and will continue today, Sunday, from 10:00AM until the time of service.
