Opelousas- A Celebration of Life Service for Donna Quebedeaux Vautrot will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.  Graveside services will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Donna Quebedeaux Vautrot peacefully gained her wings on Monday, June 20, 2022, at her residence in Church Point, at the age of 65.

Donna loved children of all ages. She gained their love by having fun and playing games. At heart, she was just a big kid herself. When she wasn’t caring for children, she enjoyed staying busy by being outside working in her garden or enjoying many quiet camping trips. Donna had a huge heart and will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her, which will keep her legacy thriving.

Donna is survived by her children, Robert Paul Devillier, Jr. and wife, Monica of Mire; Joseph Brent Devillier and wife, Alicia of Youngsville; and Tracy Lynn Venable and husband, Joshua of Church Point; her mother, Marie Jean Viviano Quebedeaux of Opelousas; her sisters, Corlis Ann Fontenot of Port Barre, Karen Marie Quebedeaux of Nuba, Ave Maria McBride and husband, Mark of Lafayette and Mary Lee Meynig and husband, Marne of Sunset; grandchildren, Bailey Devillier, Kylie Devillier, Gavin Devillier, Slaydon Lomas, Rylie Lomas and Taylen Gautreaux; great-grandchildren, Ahnaliis Gautreaux and Anderson Gautreaux; and her furbaby and special dog, Angel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Vautrot; and her father, Dudley Quebedeaux.
