Dommie Polotzola

Krotz Springs Services for Dommie Ray Polotzola, age 56, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2011, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, La., followed by interment in the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery. The Reverend Mark Ledoux will conduct the service.

Dommie, who was a resident of Krotz Springs, La., died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System.

Dommie was a retired railroad bridge attendant. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Evans Polotzola of Krotz Springs, La. his daughters, Daphne Rachelle Polotzola Napoli and husband, Mitchell, of Baton Rouge, La. Jasmin Chantel Polotzola Goudeau and husband, Joshua, of Port Barre, La. his brothers, Louis A. Polotzola and wife, Cindy John Mikell Polotzola and wife, Judy Frank S. Polotzola and wife, Dana and Joseph Polotzola and wife, Olla Lee, all of Krotz Springs, La. his sisters, Lottie P. Beebe and husband, Rick Pearson, of Breaux Bridge, La. Mary P. Morain and husband, Bennett, of Palmetto, La. Tena P. Jordan of Melville, La. and Catherine Marcotte of Melville, La. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Evan Domminick Polotzola, Ciara Chantel Mires, Alyvia Krystian, Reid Elizabeth and Emily Kate Goudeau.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Domminick and Betty Dukes Polotzola his brothers, Steve Polotzola James Jimmy Thibodeaux his sister, Sara Bea Goudeau and his granddaughter, Brooke Ann Mires.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, beginning on Saturday, June 25, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
