Dolores Rouse-Lavine

Melville A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores Katherine Badeaux RouseLavine, age 69, will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the St. John Catholic Church of Melville, La., followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend James Ngyuen will be the celebrant of the mass.

Dolores, a resident of Melville, La., passed away on Monday, March 1, 2011 at her daughters home.

She is survived by her husband, John Lavine, of Palmetto, La. her son, Leonard Joseph Rouse of Melville, La. her daughters, Connie Renee Vaughn, of Arnaudville, La. Latonya Rochelle Rouse of Arnaudville, La. her brothers, Roy Badeaux, Sr. and wife, Tina, of Baker, La. John Badeaux, Jr. and wife, Jeanette, of Zachary, La. Douglas Badeaux, Sr. of Addis, La. and her sisters, Eula Mae Badeaux Daigle and husband, Leroy, of Grosse Tete, La. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Keldrick Rouse, Kiera Rouse, Ivy Rouse, Katherine Rouse, Erica Rouse, Tamera Rouse, Cassandra Rouse and Clarence Guillory, Jr. and 5 greatgrandchildren, Kingston Rouse, Kevrion Francisco, Terry Hartford, Espen Keys and Logan Rouse.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Badeaux, Sr. her sister, Lillie Belle Badeaux Meyer her brother, Eugene Badeaux and her sisterinlaw, Catherine Badeaux.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice Care of Avoyelles and Dr. Fernando Alemanay.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
