Dianne Cooke Tevault

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Dianne Cooke Tevault announce her passing on March 25, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 1 PM, with visitation starting at 10 AM at Lafond Ardoin funeral home in the Skip Montet Chapel in Opelousas. 

Dianne was born in Dallas, Texas, July 19, 1941, and later moved to Opelousas where she chose to raise her family. As a child she aspired to be a concert pianist, and an architect. In her career, Dianne was a business owner, an antique dealer, an entrepreneur, and very active in the community. She toured across the country participating in major antique shows, and was well respected among her peers. She had a talent for decorating and fashion, gardening and flowers, and all things pink.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith Jacobs Seals (Rick), and William R. Cooke, a sister - Constance Joan Robinson, and a son, Jack Busby II.

Dianne is survived by a sister - Valorie Seals Adams, and by her children Vicki Martin, Darren Jobe, Sabrina Jobe, Joey Jobe, Robbie Tevault IV, Charlie Busby, his wife, Jenny, and Tiffany Lyons, as well as 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren, all whom she cherished and adored.
