Krotz Springs- Funeral services for Diana Mae Breaux Gautreaux, age 62, will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs, followed by interment in the church of Krotz Springs Cemetery. The Reverend Chad Bolfa, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs will conduct the services.
Mrs. Gautreaux, who was a native and resident of Krotz Springs, died on Sunday evening following an automobile accident.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Frances Treg Breaux of Krotz Springs; two sons, Merrick W. Gautreaux, Jr. and wife Marie of Palmetto and Bert Gautreaux, Sr. and Darla Bonaventure of Fordoche; three daughters, Charlotte Gautreaux of Fordoche, Jeanne Gautreaux and Joe Theriot of Simmesport, and Jolene Sellars and husband Terence of Livonia; two sisters, Isabelle Bickham and husband Wayne of Baton Rouge and Carolyn Watkins of Walker; brother-in-law, David Watkins of Walker; 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 7 nephews and 1 niece.
Preceding Diana in death are her husband, Merrick W. Gautreaux, Sr.; a son, Charles Amos Gautreaux; a brother, Carl Dewey Breaux; two grandchildren, Savannah LeAnne Sellars and Brandon Lee Ellis.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Stelly, Jr., Joshua Stelly, Derrick Stelly, Nicholas Stelly, Dexter Stelly, and Crawford Brown.
Visiting hours will begin on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service time in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.
