Denese Guillory

Opelousas - Funeral services for Denese Elizabeth Martin Guillory will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert and Rev. Greg Gaspard will officiate the services. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Denese, age 51, was a resident of Lawtell. She passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at her home. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny "Jay" Craig Guillory, III and wife, Bridget of Opelousas; Drew Nicholas Guillory and girlfriend, Jessica Hebert of Opelousas; four brothers, Harold "Bud" Martin and wife, Charlotte of Ruston; Gabe LaCombe of Arnaudville; Joey Martin and wife, Julie, of Tennessee; Shane Peterson and companion, Brittney of San Diego, California; four sisters, Lisa Soileau and husband, Del of Opelousas; Andrea LaCombe and companion, Chris Guillory of Walker; Sherry Baker and husband, Kelly of Jackson, Tennessee and Jeri Chipman and husband, Chad, of South Carolina. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Martin; mother, Helena Moreau LaCombe; the father of her children, Johnny Craig Guillory, II and her best friends, Judy and Mandy.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. for the family and for the public from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas.

A Rosary Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with funeral services to follow.
