Della Ray

Krotz Springs Funeral services for Della Mae Ray, age 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the First Baptist Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mrs. Ray, who was a resident of Krotz Springs, died at Opelousas General Health System on Friday, March 25, 2011.

Survivors include her husband, Douglas Ray, of Krotz Springs, La. her mother, Dorothy Sanders of Krotz Springs, La. her son, John Douglas Ray and his wife, Bridget, of Krotz Springs, La. her daughter, Christie Ray Ducote, of Bayou Current, La. her brothers, Johnny Sanders of Virginia Beach, Va. Randall Sanders of Lottie, La. and her sister, Betty Wilson of Georgia. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Hayden Scott Ducote, Morgan Gayle Casse, Hunter Scott Ray and Maycee Paige Casse.

She is preceded in death by her father, William George Sanders.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs beginning on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and will reopen on Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
