Delbert Ardoin

Krotz Springs - Funeral services will be held for Delbert "Rabbit" Ardoin, age 53, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs on Friday, July 10, 2015 with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Delbert died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Adelade "Della" Gravouia Ardoin, of Breaux Bridge, LA; his brothers, Calvin R. Ardoin, Sr. and wife Brenda; Joseph "T-Boy" M. Ardoin, Jr. and wife, Janice; Bradford Ardoin and fiancé, Monica; Charles L. Ardoin and wife, Barbara; Michael Ardoin and wife, Shondel; Chad K. Ardoin and his sisters, Sheryl A. LeBlanc and husband, Eddie; Mary A. Crouch and husband, Luther; Connie S. Briggs and Elizabeth Barker and fiancé, Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his three animals, Little Girl, Tode and Sweety Pie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ardoin, Sr. and Ila Mae Rushing Ardoin; his brothers, Ulynn E. Ardoin, Edwin T. Ardoin, Dwayne L. Ardoin and his nephews, Stephen Sanchez, William "Noonie" Graham, John "J.J." Templeton, Jr. and Hoby J. Barker.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
