Krotz Springs - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Deborah Kelley Wiley, known to many as "Debbie", age 48, at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Interment will be held at the church cemetery. Reverend Father Jason Vidrine will celebrate the Mass.

Visitation will be observed in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Tuesday, visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening and 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning in the funeral home.

Debbie, a resident of Krotz Springs, LA, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a phenomenal teacher, a wonderful mother, a Tiger fan, a crafty creator, a loyal friend, and a Saints lover. She enjoyed teaching her students, reading, crocheting, sewing, supporting LSU football, and cheering on the Saints. Her nurturing spirit, kind demeanor, generous heart, and impeccable humor are just a few of the reasons she was truly treasured by so many. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by two sons, George Thomas "Trey" Wiley III and Richard Stephens Wiley, II; two daughters, Erin Michelle Wiley and Christine Brooke Wiley; one brother, Douglas Charles Kelley, her mother, Glenda Dickerson Kelley and one nephew, Douglas Charles "Dougie" Kelley II and Dustyn "Dusty" Charles Morman, all of Krotz Springs; her father, George Charles Kelley of Las Vegas, NV; and special friend, Donald "Tee" Courville of Port Barre.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emma Krotz Quebedeaux and Leland Joseph Quebedeaux; her aunt, Shelly Quebedeaux Barras; and Shelly's infant son.

Pallbearers will be Brandy Burleigh Fontenot, Alison Kaiser Hebert, Renee Kaiser Aymond, Geralyn Lacassin Rozas, Heidi Richardson Lacassin, and Brandi David Meche. Honorary pallbearers will be George Thomas Wiley III, Richard Stephens Wiley, II, Donald "Tee" Courville, and David Reed.
