Deborah Hooks

Krotz Springs Deborah Jeffers Hooks died at her residence on Tuesday, August 23, 2011.

She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother who changed the lives of so many.
Debbie could brighten the room with just a smile. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was a 1992 graduate of the Opelousas School of Cosmetology. After graduation, Debbie opened Debbies Hair and Nails south of Krotz Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Randy E. Hooks of Krotz Springs son, Christopher James Higginbotham of Port Barre daughter, Raneill Hooks Cortez of Krotz Springs sisters, Nancy Dean Jeffers and Jefflyn Jeffers of Texas three grandchildren, Phillip Ellis, Lindsey Cortez and Whitney Kimble.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eric and Delores LeBlanc Jeffers and her brother, Ike Jeffers.
