Debia Fontenot

Grand Prairie A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Debia Deb Fontenot, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in the St. Peters Catholic Church in Grand Prairie, LA. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Monsignor Louis Melancon and Reverend James Brady will be the celebrants of the Mass.

Mrs. Fontenot, age 59, a resident of Grand Prairie, LA, died at her residence on Monday, May 20, 2013.

She will be greatly missed, but will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends and all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Fontenot, of Grand Prairie, LA her parents, Billie and Jane Fontenot, of Grand Prairie, LA her son, Andrew Fontenot of Grand Prairie, LA her daughters, Ashley Latiolais and husband, Robby, of Lafayette, LA Sarah Fontenot of Grand Prairie, LA her brothers, Bill Fontenot and wife, Patsy, of Grand Prairie, LA Keith Fontenot and wife, Beth, of Grand Prairie, LA her sisters, Peggy Richard and husband, Mark, of Grand Prairie, LA Patricia Fontenot and Monica Vidrine and husband, Jamie, of Grand Prairie, LA and her grandchildren, Emma and Amelia Latiolais of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by her lifelong friends, Ann and Charles Ruffino and family of Beggs, LA, 6 nephews, 5 nieces, 2 greatnephews and 4 greatnieces.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ena and J.B. Doucet, Sr. and Edith and Earl Fontenot, Sr.

Visiting hours will begin on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
