David Savant

Funeral services for David Savant, age 64, have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs. Visiting will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

David was a hard-working man and a jack of all trades. He was a pipeline welder by trade but could repair just about anything. If it was broken, he could fix it. He was a huge fan of New Orleans Saints football. David loved his children dearly and paw-paw absolutely adored his grandchildren. He was in his glory when he was surrounded by them. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his son Mark Savant and fiancé, Jamie; his daughters, Sabrina Taylor and husband Mark and Tiffany Savant and fiancé Kenny; brother, Roy Barker, Gary Barker, Ronnie Barker and wife Janet, Donald Gene Barker and wife Becky, and Elvis Barker and wife Tricia; six grandchildren, Kenny Smith, Hayden Savant, Dakota Savant, Meagan Polotzola, Alyssa Polotzola and Jermey Barker and a great-grandchild, Jaxx Perez.

David is preceded in death his parents, Johnny Webster Savant, and Beulah Sanders Savant.

Pallbearers will be Mark Savant, Mark Taylor, Kenny Smith, Kenny Crochet, Jermey Barker and Eric Woodson.

LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
