Funeral services for Danny Ray Deranger, Sr. will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2015, in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. The Reverend Perry Hubbs, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Opelousas will conduct the funeral service.
Visiting will be held in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mr. Deranger, age 56, died on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at his residence in Melville, LA.
Danny was a mechanic by trade. He loved fishing, drag racing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his son, Danny Ray Deranger, Jr. and wife Blinda of Melville, LA; daughters, Misty Deranger and companion Kevin Quebedeaux of Leonville, LA, Jamie Deranger and companion Heather Matt of Leonville, LA, Taylor Thibodeaux of Lawtell, LA and Paige Deranger; brother, Kevin Deranger of Leonville, LA; sister, Sandra Deranger of Leonville, LA; and 10 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Weston and Naomi Devillier Deranger; sisters Janet Faye Lalonde and Alice Marie Deranger; brother, James Weston Deranger.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Deranger, Jr., Kevin Quebedeaux, Adam Quebedeaux, Blake Deranger, Maxie Zachary, Jr., Joshua Lalonde, Hayden Schexnayder, Danny Deranger, III, and Elijah Zachary.
LaFond- Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
